Elisa
Hello! My name is Elisa and I live in Antwerp, Belgium since moving here in 2020. I returned to the city where I studied for my BA. I enjoy the city life, listening to music and social gatherings with friends. Aside from writing I spend my time singing 80s music as a lullaby to my son and annoying my man with trivia and updates on my favorite books and tv-shows.
My writing
I did not come to writing through formal literary training, but through a lifelong love of stories and the communities built around them. For years, I explored storytelling through fan fiction and online creative spaces, learning how to craft characters, build worlds, and connect with readers through shared imagination.
Now, I am bringing that experience into original fiction. As a debut author, I approach storytelling with both enthusiasm and humility, drawing on the lessons learned from years of creative writing and reader engagement.
Every story I write is driven by curiosity, emotion, and a desire to create meaningful experiences for readers. I channel this into my writing, which represents both where I have come from and where I hope to go as an author.

Trivia
As an author I love the written word, but I also have a thing for the spoken word. I can proudly call myself a polyglot, speaking 8 languages (in different degrees of fluency).
I am a strong advocate for the balance between a healthy mind and healthy body, prioritising my physical health with frequent visits to the gym and paying my therapist to make sure I don't get stuck in my own head too often.
I have watched hundreds of tv-shows and friends know me as a walking encyclopedia on television series ("I know that actor" - "Yes they were in season two of Game of Thrones").
People around me describe me by the following fictional characters:
- Jo March from 'Little Women'
- Elizabeth Bennet from 'Pride and Prejudice'
- Lucy Chen from The Rookie
- Noora Saetre from Skam
"Long before she called herself an author, she was already a storyteller. I've watched her spend countless hours bringing characters to life, refining ideas, and pouring her heart into every page. What makes her writing special isn't just her imagination—it's her ability to make readers care. This book is the result of years of passion, dedication, and a love for stories that never stopped growing."
